Bengaluru remains the center of India's startup economy. Analytics India Magazine, citing Tracxn's Karnataka Tech Report 2025, reported that Bengaluru is home to more than 15,800 active startups, about 95% of the state's total, and that AI-focused startups in Karnataka raised $223 million in 2025, nearly all of it in Bengaluru.
This post is part of Landbase's broader index of AI startups adding headcount fastest.
This list ranks venture-backed, AI-native startups headquartered in Bengaluru by 12-month headcount growth measured in Landbase data, then verifies each company's funding and operating evidence against public sources.
The starting pool was AI-native companies founded in 2019 or later whose main headquarters and operating base is Bengaluru, including companies that also maintain a U.S. entity or office.
Every company on the list had to meet four criteria:
Headcount growth is calculated from professional-profile data and can differ from company-reported figures, particularly for companies with contractors, field teams, or distributed staff. Funding, valuation, and customer figures below come from company announcements and press coverage rather than headcount data. Funding alone does not establish growth, so it is treated as one of several company buying signals.

Category: AI procurement agents
Aerchain sells what it calls a "Spend Operating System," which uses AI agents across the procurement cycle, from intake and vendor discovery to negotiation and invoice management.
Aerchain said it serves more than 50 global enterprise customers across 30 countries and manages about $45 billion in spend.
The company raised a $13 million Series A to fund global expansion and its AI capabilities.
Pavestone led the $13 million (about ₹118 crore) Series A, with IndiaMART participating. Aerchain previously raised a $3 million pre-Series A in 2021 co-led by IndiaMART and Season Two Ventures.
Aerchain is a Bengaluru enterprise software company selling agentic AI into a large, process-heavy back-office function for global buyers.
Several patterns stand out.
First, the category mix is broad. The ten companies span sovereign language models, voice agents, sales agents, procurement, consumer education, defense intelligence, water infrastructure, and fleet safety.
Second, funding is highly concentrated. Sarvam's Series B first close alone is several times larger than the combined disclosed funding of the other nine companies, most of which raised seed or early Series A rounds below $16 million.
Third, many of these companies are built in Bengaluru for markets elsewhere. Floworks sells AI sales agents to U.S. teams, Stimuler's paying users are mostly outside India, Aerchain serves customers in 30 countries, and Ringg AI and SmartTerra are piloting or expanding in the Middle East. Sarvam and Blurgs AI, by contrast, are built around Indian languages and government buyers.
For GTM teams, these companies are hiring quickly while their sales, operations, and engineering functions are still taking shape. Headcount growth is more useful when combined with funding, leadership, technology, and data enrichment signals. Teams researching adjacent categories can compare this list with Landbase's rankings of AI sales startups hiring fastest and AI support agent startups hiring fastest, the regional view of Singapore AI startups hiring fastest, and the full set of AI startups hiring fastest by city.
The ranking in this article was built with Landbase. A natural-language search identified venture-backed AI startups headquartered in Bengaluru, an enrichment step added founding year, headquarters city, and 12-month headcount change, and the results were filtered and sorted into a structured dataset.
Landbase's web and CLI interfaces access the same account, datasets, and saved work.
For more complex requirements, the Advanced Dataset Creator supports filters, calculations, and custom output fields.
Landbase's data infrastructure includes more than 800 million contacts and more than 40 million companies across more than 1,500 fields, with enrichment from more than 20 providers.
A Bengaluru workflow could, for example, identify AI startups headquartered in Bengaluru that raised a seed or Series A round in the past year, grew headcount by more than 50%, sell to customers outside India, and recently hired a sales or customer success leader in the United States or the Middle East.
The Landbase CLI setup supports these workflows from a standard terminal and from AI coding environments including Claude Code and Codex.
Among venture-backed, AI-native startups headquartered in Bengaluru, Ringg AI, Revspot, Floworks, Blurgs AI, and Ambitio recorded the highest 12-month headcount growth in Landbase data, each above 100%. Sarvam, Stimuler, SmartTerra, Cautio, and Aerchain completed the top ten.
Ringg AI, an enterprise voice AI company, recorded the highest growth among companies that met this list's criteria, at more than 400%. Its Series A reached $15.5 million in 2026.
Bengaluru has India's largest concentration of startups, engineering talent, and venture investors, and Tracxn data cited by Analytics India Magazine shows nearly all of Karnataka's AI startup funding in 2025 went to Bengaluru companies.
Not on its own. Headcount data can differ from company figures, and percentage growth can be large for companies starting from small teams. This list therefore pairs headcount growth with disclosed funding, customer, and usage evidence wherever it is available.
Teams can start with a headquarters and category definition and then filter by headcount growth, funding stage, recent rounds, target markets, and hiring activity. Landbase can combine these criteria into reusable datasets and return company and contact information through web and CLI workflows.
Tool and strategies modern teams need to help their companies grow.
