The Challenge

Fulfillment 3PLs are nearly impossible
to identify at scale

Octup's ICP requires companies that are true fulfillment-focused 3PLs, not just freight, forwarding, or warehousing. There's no NAICS code, no SIC category, no database filter that reliably surfaces them.

To build outreach lists, Octup relied on an overseas contractor from UpWork to manually identify and qualify every account. On a list of 1,000 contacts, only 752 were relevant to their ICP. 276 weren't true 3PLs and 50 had invalid mobile numbers.

Beyond accuracy, the process was slow. Because there's no centralized public list for fulfillment-focused 3PLs, the contractor needed a full month to research and deliver a list of 1,000 contacts. Campaigns stalled while the SDR waited, and the lists that eventually arrived still needed re-checking before outreach could begin.
