Find Local Businesses

Search Companies and Search Contacts query Landbase’s database of corporate entities with LinkedIn profiles. Find Local Businesses queries Google Maps — a completely different universe of brick-and-mortar locations, branches, and local service providers.“HVAC contractors near Austin TX,” “coffee shops in SoMa San Francisco,” “dental clinics in Miami” — these are businesses that don’t have LinkedIn profiles but do have Google Maps listings with websites, phone numbers, ratings, and reviews.

How it works

Provide a search query combining business type and location (e.g., “HVAC contractors near Austin TX”). Optionally specify precise coordinates, zoom level, and result limits.

What it returns

Each result includes:
  • Business name and website
  • Full address and phone number
  • Business types and description
  • Rating and review count
  • Price level (when available)
  • Landbase company ID (when the business matches a company in Landbase’s dataset)
That last point is important: each result is automatically matched against Landbase’s company database. If the local business has a website that matches a company in the dataset, you get the Landbase company ID attached — bridging the gap between Maps data and structured GTM data.

When to use it

Useful for SMB-focused GTM teams, location-based prospecting, and anyone targeting businesses that live on Google Maps rather than LinkedIn. Pair with Qualify Leads to evaluate results against custom criteria (e.g., “does this business have a website?”, “is this a franchise or independent?”).

Result limits

Default 20 results, maximum 500 per query.
