Sales development hiring has become more selective. Emergence Capital's 2025 survey of more than 560 B2B software companies found that 36% had reduced SDR and BDR headcount over the prior year while only 19% had grown it.
A company building an SDR team is about to buy contact data, sequencing and dialer software, call coaching, sales training and enablement content, which makes multi-role SDR hiring one of the more practical buying signals for vendors that sell into sales organizations.
This list ranks venture-backed companies by the number of distinct SDR and BDR job postings created in the 60 days before this analysis, then checks each company's careers page, funding and leadership against public sources.
Every company on the list had to meet four criteria:
Posting counts measure open requisitions in Landbase's job-posting index over 60 days. A single requisition can appear several times if it is reposted or listed in several countries or cities, so the counts are a signal of hiring intent rather than a count of confirmed hires.

Open SDR/BDR roles (60 days): 42
Latest round: $66 million Series A, February 2026, led by Kaszek and Goodwater Capital
HQ: Buenos Aires, Argentina (Landbase lists San Francisco)
Category: HR and internal communications software for deskless workers
Humand sells a mobile-first platform for internal communications, HR processes, scheduling and training for employees who do not work at a desk.
Humand's 42 postings largely reflect how it lists roles. Its careers site carries three Spanish-language LATAM requisitions, an outbound SDR role for LATAM, an inbound SDR role and a junior SMB BDR role for Spanish-speaking markets, and each is listed in 14 countries from Mexico to Argentina. Three roles across 14 locations produce 42 listings. Separate SDR and BDR roles have covered Brazil and North America. The LATAM roles are fully remote and require intermediate or advanced English.
Humand raised a $66 million Series A to expand in Brazil, the United States and Asia and to build AI agents. It reported more than 1.6 million users across 51 countries. Landbase data shows 12-month headcount growth of about 97%.
A remote SDR team serving Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets needs Latin American contact coverage, multilingual outreach tools and remote onboarding content.

Latest round: Seven-figure round, February 2023, with PUSH Ventures, aws Gründerfonds and Erste Group
HQ: Vienna, Austria
Category: Business valuation and data room software
Valutico sells business valuation software used by corporate finance advisors, auditors and investment managers.
Valutico's careers page lists five regional SDR roles for its virtual data room product, covering APAC, Europe, Canada, LATAM, and the Middle East and Africa. Each role is open in four or five named countries, so five requisitions account for most of the 22 listings.
Valutico raised a seven-figure sum in its first institutional round, led by new investors PUSH Ventures and aws Gründerfonds with Erste Group joining. The company reports more than 800 customers. Landbase data shows 12-month headcount down about 9%, so the SDR push sits alongside a smaller overall team.
A small company hiring SDRs in five regions needs international data coverage and enablement for a new product line.
CEO: George Fraser
Open SDR/BDR roles (60 days): 13
Latest round: Series D extension; all-stock merger with dbt Labs completed June 2026
HQ: Oakland, California
Category: Data movement and transformation
Fivetran sells managed pipelines that move data from SaaS applications and databases into cloud warehouses. Since merging with dbt Labs, it also sells dbt's transformation tooling.
Fivetran's job board lists eight BDR and SDR requisitions in Dublin, Denver, Austin and Sydney. The Dublin roles are language-specific, covering French, German, and Italian and Spanish speakers. Two of the roles, in Austin and Dublin, carry a "dbt" location label, which suggests the merged company is building one sales development team across both product lines.
Fivetran and dbt Labs completed their all-stock merger on June 1, 2026, with Fraser as CEO and dbt founder Tristan Handy as President. Landbase data shows 12-month headcount growth of about 20%.
A post-merger SDR team needs account data that reflects a combined customer base and training on a broader product set.

RemotePass raised a $17.4 million Series B to expand in Europe and the United States,. The company said it reached profitability in early 2025 and has processed more than $800 million in cross-border payroll. Landbase data shows 12-month headcount growth of about 43%.

CEO: Max Friedman
Open SDR/BDR roles (60 days): 11
Latest round: $50 million growth investment, April 2024, led by BVP Forge
HQ: Remote, United States
Category: Nonprofit fundraising software
Givebutter sells a fundraising platform for nonprofits covering donation forms, events, donor CRM and messaging, funded through optional donor tips or fees.
All 11 postings in Landbase data were created on the same day. Givebutter's careers page shows one role, an outbound sales development representative, posted as remote. The company says employees can work from ten U.S. hubs, so the count most likely reflects one outbound requisition syndicated across hub cities.
Givebutter raised $50 million from BVP Forge and Ardent Venture Partners and described itself as profitable, serving more than 35,000 nonprofits. Landbase data shows 12-month headcount growth of about 50%.
An outbound motion into nonprofits needs organization data and contacts that general B2B databases often cover thinly.

The company raised a CHF 2 million seed round. It now says it works with more than 5,000 agencies and reaches more than 10 million users a year. No later round was found.
Commission-based remote SDRs rely on low-cost dialers and meeting-booking tools rather than premium enterprise seats.

Latest round: $105 million Series C, 2022
HQ: San Francisco Bay Area, California

Docker's job board lists three business development representative roles: one in the United States and two based in England covering EMEA and DACH, the latter posted in late September 2026. Reposts and multiple listings likely explain the gap to nine.
Docker's latest priced round was a $105 million Series C at a reported $2.1 billion valuation, and the company remains private. Don Johnson became CEO in February 2025.
BDRs converting developer usage into paid team plans benefit from account-level firmographics and German-language coverage for DACH.

Mimica lists a business development representative role and an associate BDR role, each open across seven to eleven U.S. states. Both were first published in May 2026, so the September postings in Landbase data are most likely reposts.
Mimica's job listings state that it has raised $26 million in Series B financing, backed by Khosla Ventures and Paladin Capital. Landbase data shows 12-month headcount growth of about 72%.
A UK company building a U.S. outbound team into large enterprises needs enterprise contact data and account research tools.

Latest round: $500 million, April 2021 (as SaltPay), with Hedosophia and Tiger Global
HQ: London, United Kingdom
Category: Payments and business banking for small businesses
Teya, formerly SaltPay, sells card machines, online payments, a business account and cash advances to small, local businesses. It reports more than 75,000 business customers.
Teya's job board lists more than a dozen BDR and SDR requisitions, more than the seven Landbase counted in its window, because many were posted in October. Roles are territory-based: London and Reading, the Midlands (Birmingham, Leicester, Stoke-on-Trent), the South East (Chichester, Brighton), Lisbon, Porto, Prague and Reykjavík. Most are paired with a business development manager in the same territory.
Business of Payments reported that SaltPay raised about $700 million in venture funding, including $500 million in April 2021. No newer round was found.
Territory SDR teams selling to local merchants need small-business data and high-volume dialers.
First, posting counts mostly measure how widely a company lists a role. Humand's 42 postings come from three LATAM requisitions listed in 14 countries each, Relativity's nine come from one role listed in nine Polish locations, and Valutico's 22 come from five regional roles.
Second, SDR hiring is international and language-specific. The roles cover Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Gulf, DACH, UK regions, Portugal, and French, German, Italian and Spanish speakers in Dublin. RealAdvisor hires remote SDRs in Asia to sell into European markets.
Third, the companies span stages and categories. Humand and RemotePass raised new rounds in 2026, while Fivetran, Docker, Relativity and Teya are later-stage private companies adding regional SDR capacity. Categories range from HR and payments to data infrastructure, legal software and AI automation. Most postings were created between late August and late September.
For GTM teams, a cluster of SDR postings is more useful when paired with funding, leadership changes, technology and data enrichment signals than when read on its own. Related Landbase rankings cover AI startups adding headcount fastest and of top AI sales and GTM startups.
All ten go-to-market hiring signals in this series are collected in GTM Hiring Signals to Watch in 2026.
The ranking in this article was built from Landbase job-posting data. A search counted each company's distinct SDR and BDR postings over 60 days, filtered by employee count and funding, and each company was then checked against public sources.
Landbase's web and CLI interfaces access the same account, datasets, and saved work.
For more complex requirements, the Advanced Dataset Creator supports filters, calculations, and custom output fields.
Landbase's data infrastructure includes more than 800 million contacts and more than 40 million companies across more than 1,500 fields, with enrichment from more than 20 providers.
An SDR hiring workflow could, for example, find companies that posted three or more SDR roles in the last 30 days, raised a Series A or B in the past year, and hired a VP of Sales in the last six months, then return that sales leader's contact details.
The Landbase CLI setup supports these workflows from a standard terminal and from AI coding environments including Claude Code and Codex.
Among venture-backed companies with 50 to 2,000 employees, Humand had the most SDR and BDR postings in Landbase data over the last 60 days, with 42, followed by Valutico with 22, Fivetran with 13, RemotePass with 12 and Givebutter with 11.
Opening several SDR or BDR roles usually means a company is investing in outbound pipeline, entering a new market or adding a product line, which tends to bring spending on data, sales engagement software and training.
They show intent, not confirmed hires. One requisition can be listed in many locations or reposted, as with Humand and Relativity.
Vendors of contact data, sales engagement and dialer platforms, conversation intelligence, sales training and sales recruiting services.
Teams can monitor job postings by title, count them over a set window, and combine the counts with funding, headcount growth and leadership changes. Landbase supports this through job-posting data, enrichment, structured datasets and web and CLI workflows.
Tool and strategies modern teams need to help their companies grow.
