# Discover Related Industries

<div className="blog-post-content">
  Same concept as [Expand Industries](/docs/reference/tools/expand-industries) but designed for a different moment: you have one industry and want to see everything adjacent to it.

  ## How it works

  Provide a single industry and get the full cluster of related industries — not a capped list, but the complete semantic neighborhood.

  "Fintech" returns every industry in the same cluster: Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Payments, Capital Markets, Investment Management. You see the full landscape and pick which ones apply.

  If the industry name doesn't match exactly, the system suggests the closest alternatives instead of returning nothing.

  ## How it differs from Expand Industries

  * **Discover Related Industries** accepts a single industry and returns the entire cluster. Best when you want to see the complete landscape.
  * [**Expand Industries**](/docs/reference/tools/expand-industries) accepts multiple industries and returns a capped, balanced list (default 5, max 20). Best for broadening targeting across several starting industries.
